The country comes to the city when Aussie farmers and their hard-working Dogs hit town for the Dog Lovers Show!

Some Dogs are born to work – it’s in their DNA!

At the Dog Lovers Show in 2019 you can learn how important genetics are, how puppies are trained, and the role of experienced Dogs.

Discover, in person, the intricacies of working Dogs and be astounded by the results of years of training.

Find out how the working Dog breeds differ in their skillsets and how they work the sheep in their quintessential Aussie style.

Head to the Outdoor Area to see the extremely popular Dog Lovers Sheepdog Speed Trials and High Jump Competition.

Australian Working Dog Rescue Inc (AWDRI) presents Sheepdog Speed Trials where purpose-bred working Dogs are placed ‘in their element’: safely moving real sheep through a course, just as they would on the farm.

In addition, 2019 will see the introduction – for the very first time, of a High Jump Competition, where working Dogs will be leaping to break new World Records.

The well-known face of AWDRI, Carey Edwards, will ignite the Outdoor Arena with expert commentary and acclaimed judging, giving visitors a chance to get up close and personal.
