Knowledge is power when it comes to fostering a healthy, happy dog and literally thousands of households across NSW have welcomed a new fur-kid during the pandemic so we’ve pulled together some of the nation’s most qualified vets and companion-animal experts to take to the PETstock Stage and help educate and entertain.
Much-loved TV vet Dr Chris Brown will be there with two brand new, not-to-missed presentations: first, winter’s effect on our dogs’ body and health, and how we can help fur-babies bounce into spring the best version of themselves; and second, our pets’ quirkiest traits and the really interesting medical reasons they unleash their masterpieces at the most inopportune times!
Dr Katrina Warren together with renowned animal trainer Kelly Gill and the amazing Wonderdogs are returning to tell us how to train our dogs at home, including some of the tricks made famous by the beautiful Wonderdogs. They’ll also provide tips for raising a happy COVID puppy.
Lara Shannon from “Pooches at Play” will present a couple of highly informative talks on what you really need to know about adopting a dog, and brain games to boost your dog’s mental health.
For the very first time, some of the biggest Fur Stars of Instagram will be strutting their stuff on the PETstock Stage where visitors can meet, cuddle and snap selfies with these high-maintenance hounds.
Leading animal behaviour expert Rose Horton will be presenting a hilarious, interactive and educational talk that is aptly titled: Are you smarter than a (Working) Dog?
