Can I bring my Dog?
We love all Dogs but as the name of the show suggests, this event has been set-up for ‘Dog Lovers‘ and not ‘Dogs’. So due to health and safety reasons (for Dogs and Humans!) and because it is mainly an indoor event, unfortunately we are unable to allow visitors to bring their Dogs into the Show. But when you get home they will be so happy to see you, as you’ll be loaded with treats & toys for them. You’ll also know so much more about them and for this they will love you even more! Are Assistance Dogs able to enter the Show/Venue?
Yes, visitors with accredited Assistance Dogs are welcome and able to bring their Dogs to the Show, however they will just need to show verification at the door.

Is there an ATM in the venue?
Various ATM machines are located in Sydney Showground and found in the Show Guide. Most exhibitors will be selling and launching an extensive range of fantastic new products and services at the event with Show Specials and great offers exclusive to the Dog Lovers Show! Are there any additional costs once I’m inside the show?
All the features at the event are free upon entry including the Vitapet Arena shows, Donate with a Mate Stage presentations, PETstock Assist Adoption Zone & Stage, Dogs NSW Breed Showcase & Ask-The-Breeders Stage, Insta-Pooch, Sheepdog Speed Trials, Extreme High Jump, Pat-A-Pooch, Bow Wow Meow’s Perfect Match, Funny Photo Wall, Face Painting, DockDogs® by BlackHawk® and more!
Please note that there are limited seats for the Vitapet Arena and Donate with a Mate Stage sessions so we recommend you arrive early as spots will be allocated on a first-in-best-dressed basis. However there is still loads of standing room area!

Can we purchase a Dog at the show?
We are governed by the NSW Domestic Animals Act, which states that under no circumstances are we permitted to have any Dog adopted and/or sold at the event. However all the information will be on hand to ensure you are very well informed on the best options and you can certainly start the process and place orders with breeders and rescue groups at the show.

What Breeds will be showcased at the event?
The Breed Showcase is proudly presented by Dogs NSW and visitors will be able to meet and compare a wide range of breeds at the Show. Click here to find out more about the showcase and here to see what breeds you could learn more about on the Ask-The-Breeders Stage! There are also a wide range of other breeds throughout the event in the Pat-A-Pooch area, PETstock Assist Adoption Zone and on Exhibitor stands.
